Call For Paper
Those who are interested in our topics are invited to submit 1-page abstracts (Max. 400 words) online only from March 2009, and a manuscript instruction will be available on our website. The program Committee will review all the abstracts, and if accepted, the author will be asked the 4-page full paper to submit. We will decide on the presentation type (Oral or Poster) based on the author’s application and program requirements. [SCIE Journal Publication]
Selected papers will be published at one of the SCIE journals, “Structural Engineering and Mechanics”, “Wind and Structures”, “Computers and Concrete”, or “Steel and Composite Structures”, after reviewing the full paper. [Topics] - Adaptive Methods - Analysis of Semi-rigid Connections - Biomechanics - Buckling and Stability - Building Information Model - CAD - Case Based Designs - Computer Supported Collaborative Design - Construction Automation and Robotics - Data Acquisition and Control Systems - Decision Support Systems - Design Integration - Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering - Formfinding, Topology and Structural Morphology - Fracture Mechanics - Graphics and Design - Grid Computing - Human Computer Interaction - Integrated Design Systems - Knowledge-Based Systems - Lifetime Costs - Linear and Non-linear Dynamics - Mathematical Software - Mobile Computing - Model Verification and Validation - Modeling of Concrete Durability - Monitoring of Structures & Buildings - Object Oriented Programming - Parallel and Distributed Processing - Real-Time 3D Simulation - Safety Analysis - Space, Tension and Shell Structures - Structural Control - Structural Engineering Including Steel, Bridge, Composite, Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Structures - Structural Health Monitoring - Structural Integrity - Structural Optimization and Sensitivity Analysis - Structure Interaction (Static and dynamic) - Supercomputing - Uncertainty Models - Virtual Reality - Visualisation - World Wide Web Applications Instructions for Submission 1) Review the "Guideline for Sample Format " and all instructions before completing the online form. 2) Click on the "Abstract or Full paper Submission" button. On the page that appears, enter all personal information & attach the abstract in the appropriate boxes. 3) Be sure to provide all requested information. Check your information, your ID (e-mail address), and password carefully before clicking on the "Submit' button. After submission, an automatic submission confirmation, your ID (e-mail address), and password will be sent to your email. Please save or print the confirmation letter for any questions regarding your submission. Use the issued ID (e-mail address) and password to edit your abstract or full paper before the submission deadline. 4) Do not submit the same abstract more than once, either electronically or by mail. 5) If you would like to revise or change your abstract after the submission deadline, please contact the CODE2009 secretariat directly.. Abstracts accepted for presentation (either oral or poster) will appear in the conference book, and all accepted authors will be asked to submit their full paper. The authors who have their presentation (either oral or poster) must pre-register for the conference. If not, the abstract will be withdrawn.
